Joining as an Attractions volunteer:

There are a range of volunteer opportunities based at Barley Hall which offer people the opportunity to get involved with the York Archaeological Trust and help us to bring to life the fascinating history of this beautiful Hall.

Volunteering suits anyone wanting to gain new experiences, share their current skills, meet new people and get involved with the aims of the York Archaeological Trust.

Joining as an Attractions placement:

We have a selection of placement opportunities either based at Barley Hall or which may include projects or activities involving Barley Hall.

Placement opportunities suit anyone from a local college or university to those looking to arrange independent placements where they need to undertake a set period of involvement to achieve their course or study aims.
