Barley Hall offers fantastic opportunities for you to get involved and help York Archaeological Trust present and preserve this historic treasure for future generations.

The Hall also takes placements from schools, universities and colleges and is an excellent work based learning environment for those wishing to enter the heritage or leisure industries. Our Volunteer Coordinator will tell you more.

Barley Hall is also a useful partnership organisation for schools and higher education establishments wishing to extend their teacher's or trainee teacher's development. A number of opportunities exist, working with our education team on specific projects as well as on focus groups and on specifically tailored INSET days.
