Cancellation Charges
Cancellation Charges are based on the estimated total cost of the event and according to the following scale:

Events cancelled within 12 to 4 weeks of the date booked will be liable to a charge of 50% of the total invoice.

Events cancelled within 4 weeks of the date booked will be liable to a charge of 100% of the total invoice (less any deposit paid)

In regard to the catering cost only - A charge will be levied when final numbers for events drop below 60% of the original anticipated at the time of the confirmation of the booking, unless we are notified accordingly 16 weeks prior to the event. This charge will equate to 60% of the lost revenue.
We shall always do our best to re-hire the allocated space at Barley Hall and in the event of a successful re-hire a reduction in the cancellation charge may be made.
